Purchase Ledger Clerk Manchester City Centre £15,000 + Benefits

Purchase Ledger Clerk Job Description
(.) Process supplier invoices in a timely fashion
(.) Comparing prices on the supplier invoices to the amounts loaded
(.) Investigate variances with the internal rates department and the supplier
(.) Generate internal credit notes for the clearance of variances;
(.) Reconcile supplier statements
(.) Posting cash receipts and payments
(.) Cash allocation on both the sales and purchase ledger.
(.) Run full month-end procedures on all ledgers.
Additional Duties
The successful candidates will be asked to assist in other areas within the finance function, Bank reconciliation, journals reconcile inter-company accounts and agree balances with client offices.
Your Skills / Experience / Qualifications
Education to GCSE Standard Grade C and above
Polite, enthusiastic and hard-working
A minimum of 2 – 3 years working within a Finance Department
Able to work in a fast-paced, forward thinking, highly successful company
Working knowledge of Sage or Sap would be preferred.
Salary & Benefits
£15,000 Upon Experience
20 Days Holiday + Statutory Bank Holidays
Hours of work Monday – Friday (no weekends!!!)
