Our client is the regional arm of one of the UK's best known main contractors whose annual UK turnover has more than doubled over the last 3 years from £100 to £250m. The company has an enviable track record and strong reputation within the industry with particular emphasis placed on their quality of work and employee welfare. Areas of operation include commercial, PFI projects, leisure and some residential.

About the Role:
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Design Coordinator to join the established design and project team based in Cheltenham. You will report to the Design and Build Manager and be responsible for managing and developing a less experienced member of the team. You will be responsible for managing design issues on new build projects up to £20m in value. Key responsibilities will be managing architects, team members, liaising with site teams and sub-contractors and ensuring that design issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. Prior experience in a design and build role is essential.


About the benefits/ rewards:
The company will offer an excellent salary above market rate of up to £45,000 depending on experience. Requirements:
You will ideally be educated to degree or a similar level and have a proven track record within the main contracting construction sector. Prior experience in a similar role managing design issues on design and build projects between £5m and £15m is essential.
