Description
Electronics Engineer for Cummins Generator Technologies, to assist in design, build and test the power conditioning systems (PCS) and to set-up the test rig and measuring equipments at the direction of the VSIG Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-developing a project specification with team members or on their own.
• Testing theoretical designs.
• Producing details of specifications and outline designs.
• Systematically improving and changing the detailed design of a piece or pieces of electronic equipment, making sure that their performance meets a written specification.
• Preparing product documentation, writing reports and giving presentations.
• Following defined development processes.
• Assist VSIG engineers in the manufacturing and assembly of VSIG PMA and PCS systems to method documentation.
• Maintain Safety and housekeeping standards.
• Addressing personal issues within the team and providing support where necessary and appropriate.
• Carry out duties in line with the Company Quality Policy Statement
• Be flexible in offering assistance in times of high workload or absence of colleagues and carrying out any other tasks compatible with the nature and level of the position, as directed by the VSIG Chief Engineer.

Essential Experience:
BSc or equivalent degree in electrical/electronic engineering
• Sound knowledge of electronic engineering and digital processing
• Practical experience of C/C++ programming language
• Good verbal, written and diagrammatic communication • Analytical skills and good understanding of test standards
• Attention to detail
• Team work and good time keeping and self motivation
