Background:

Our client are looking for Clinical Research Scientists to co-ordinate and monitor regional clinical trials.

Primary Duties:

• Conduct effective study site assessments
• Drive patient recruitment in order to meet/exceed targets
• Monitor clinical study data for local and global clinical studies
• Responsible for the management of data flow form investigator sites
• Ensure timely delivery of quality clinical study data
• Develop expertise both as site monitor and data monitor depending on Study Delivery Team requirements and technologies
• Support the Clinical Project Leader as necessary
• Effectively plan, conduct and complete site visits (pre-study, initiation, monitoring and close-out) providing timely and appropriately detailed reports and progress as necessary
• Maintain and develop the knowledge base of investigators within the locality
• Maintain and develop a broad base of therapy area knowledge
• Develop and maintain specialist TA knowledge as required
• Contribute to TA/Study Delivery Team
• Responsible for ensuring IMPACT (global clinical trial management system) is up to date for study sites
• Close collaboration and role flexibility with CSA/DM roles for delivery and individual development

Qualifications:

Life Sciences Degree or appropriate professional qualification

Track record of project participation in a scientific environment
