Qualified Teaching Assistant Required

32.5 hours per week – term time only

We are looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible to join our team of very experienced and committed support staff. We are aiming to appoint an enthusiastic and creative person to support and assist in classroom learning and teaching.

You will:

 be based in classrooms and withdrawing groups to assist the work of the teacher
 support the learning of basic skills in the National Curriculum
 help to assess pupils progress in numeracy and literacy

You should
 Have experience of supporting children’s learning
 Show an awareness of how children learn
 Be flexible and willing to work as part of a team
 Be prepared to work across a range of classrooms to support both groups and individuals
