Are you an expert within Clinical Research with strategic scientific knowledge having led matrix teams? A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a leading Pharmaceutical company based in central London. As a Senior Program Scientist you will lead clinical science on the regional clinical development of assigned company compounds. They require a highly experienced candidate to create, maintain and successfully execute the clinical development plan resulting in the regulatory approval of the compound. Primary duties will include - - Supporting Global teams ensuring US/EU teams are aligned with the global strategy - Having responsibility for the development of team strategy delivering Development Strategy, Clinical Development Pan and Clinical Protocols. -Monitoring and interpreting data from ongoing internal and external studies making recommendations with high impact. -Assuming primary responsibility for the completion of protocol synopsis -Having responsibility for the review of study data, interpretation of results and internal communication You will be leading a multi-disciplinary, multi-regional, matrix team ensuring that scientific issues are appropriately considered with respect to highly complex decisions. You will hire, manage, mentor, motivate, develop and encourage staff therefore previous experience within these areas is essential. Requirements - -Extensive experience within clinical research in the pharmaceutical industry, CRO healthcare related company or similar -Previous experience successfully leading matrix teams -Management experience -Strong scientific education/background -Gastroenterology experience highly desirable International travel will be required to perform this role.
