We require an Instrumentation & Control Technician, ideally from the Pharmaceutical sector, to join a brand new state-of-the-art Manufacturing facility in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

We require an Instrumentation & Control Technician, ideally from the Pharmaceutical sector, to join a brand new state-of-the-art Manufacturing facility in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
You should have strong experience in Calibration, Fault-Finding, Diagnostics and control of PLCs, and Solid Dose / Packaging experience would also be a definite advantage. The role would suit someone who has served an Apprenticeship and has an HNC (Or equivalent) in Instrumentation.
You will be responsible for the reliable and GMP compliant operation of Instrumentation & Controls relating to Manufacturing and Packaging equipment. Part of the Process and Instrumentation team, you will focus on production equipment and operations, delivering a programme of calibration activities, maintenance regimes and continuous improvement projects.
Working with Siemens PLCs, you will be responsible for calibration, fault finding and repair of equipment, development of Instrumentation procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
