This company has been established for over 10 years and is ideally seeking a candidate with a background in radio or press advertising. Direct Account Manager Radio Advertising Services Sales JOB TITLE: Direct Account Manager AREA: Greater Manchester. BASED: Greater Manchester. BASIC: £20K - £27K dependant on experience. OTE: £50K - £60K. BENEFITS: Car (Golf or A3 type), 25 days holiday, pension, laptop, mobile and healthcare. THE ROLE ·If progression and earning potential are at the forefront of your mind then this is the ideal opportunity for you to work as a Direct Account Manager selling radio advertising services. ·This role will involve selling this major radio station's various advertising services, including air time, website exposure, events exposure, promotions and tours and mobile phone campaigns. ·The Direct Account Manager will be selling into the government, health, finance, leisure, retail and car industries, as well as local businesses such as bars, clubs, restaurants and entertainment establishments. ·This is a new business role but all accounts won will be retained for development and management. ·The order values that the Direct Account Manager can expect to deal with will range from £5K to £40K. THE COMPANY ·This company has been established for over 10 years and currently has 60 employees at the Leeds station. ·They are the largest radio station network in the UK, with over 10 national stations. ·The Manchester station has 30 employees. ·There are currently 6 other sales people in the team, which the person filling this position will be joining. KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ·The ideal candidate will have a background in radio or press advertising. ·This company is looking for energetic, outgoing and sociable individuals. ·Candidates with media backgrounds are welcome.
