Children and Families teams based in Kintyre have vacancies for qualified social workers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a rural setting as a member of these dynamic teams. You will be afforded the opportunity to further your professional development through a range of training opportunities. Placement on the scale will depend on qualifications and experience.
You should have CQSW, Diploma in Social Work or equivalent qualification. It is desirable that you have post qualifying awards as well as two years' post qualifying experience in a child care setting and you must have knowledge of current legislation with regards to Children and families. You must be able to work to tight guidelines and have a flexible approach to work. You should also be an autonomous practitioner and display a competent approach to childcare social work. You must have good organisational, communication and report writing skills and hold a current driving licence. Standby, Telephone and Essential Car user Allowance is available.
