Newly created opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer or Quality Engineer to become a Member of the Manufacturing Engineering support team providing manufacturing engineering/engineering/quality/health & safety support to an assigned area(s) of the manufacturing process within Cummins Generator Technologies in Stamford.
Newly created opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer or Quality Engineer to become a Member of the Manufacturing Engineering support team providing manufacturing engineering/engineering/quality/health & safety support to an assigned area(s) of the manufacturing process within Cummins Generator Technologies in Stamford.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Group Leader your key responsibilities will be:
Day to day issues arising from the production of machines
Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activity
New Design/Equipment introduction and implementation
Support of other business functions such as operations, health & safety, engineering, quality, materials, purchasing & finance departments
Essential Skills: Degree/HNC in an engineering discipline and /or suitable relevant experience
Similar experience in a manufacturing environment
Lean Manufacturing experience
Project Management experience
In depth knowledge of plant, equipment and processes
