A leading defence and aerospace client is looking for a couple of Analogue and Digital design engineers. Working on design and re-design of electronics for Harsh Environments, candidates should have strong board level embedded circuit design skills.
A leading defence and aerospace client is looking for a couple of Analogue and Digital design engineers. Working on design and re-design of electronics for Harsh Environments, candidates should have strong board level embedded circuit design skills.
Technology within the electronic engine management systems comprises of ASIC and FPGA design and verification, power supply design, digital electronics, analogue electronic, EMC design and qualification, safety and reliability. Whilst not always leading edge, the technology and designs are very robust and sophisticated.
Ideally the candidates shall be Degree qualified (or HND plus work experience) and have some industrial design experience, and be capable of achieving Chartered Engineer status. Experience of board level industrial real time embedded control circuit design using both analogue and digital circuit techniques as well as knowledge of the latest electronic packaging design techniques to meet aerospace or similar demanding validation and certification requirements. A knowledge of environmental requirements and their effects on the design, be familiar with manufacturing process capabilities to meet DFA and DFM requirements is also required. The role also demands a high degree of self-management with good interpersonal skills and be capable of effectively interfacing with the customer
Engineers are able to maintain or develop a broad range of skills from initial concept design, detail design, testing, and validation through to qualification within a project team.
