They currently have an opportunity for a Design Engineer to join their team, offering you a diverse range of projects, a reputation for adopting innovative construction techniques, great career prospects and the benefits of their purpose-built Training Centre. There will be plenty of opportunity to progress in a multi-disciplinary team that is exposed to the whole project lifecycle - from land search to construction.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Production of planning layouts
• Drawings and details for projects ranging from traditionally-styled designs to major housing schemes, city centre builds and mixed-use development
• Co-ordinate all engineering design
• liaise with external consultants
• Ensure that statutory requirements are met and that the work is covered by bonds

You will be/have:

• Communication skills to act as a central point of liaison between colleagues and contractors
• A wealth of construction experience
• A positive, hands-on approach
• A working knowledge of AutoCAD
• A HNC/BTEC or equivalent
