Tester / Apps Support EngineerDundee   £18,000 - £24,000

Eden Scott's market leading and award winning client has an excellent permanent opportunity for a Tester to join their growing team.  This position would possibly suit a recent graduate with at least 1 years commercial experience in a testing, programming or Apps support role.

The main aspect of this position will be to test the company software products but will also involve support the development team, supporting both internal and external users and assist in IT related duties.  For the testing role you will be required to work with version control software (CVS), create software builds and work with virtual machines.  For the support role you will be first line support which will require you to have an in-depth knowledge of bespoke software products (training provided).  You will also be required to assist in configuring and testing the software at customer sites therefore you must be willing to travel throughout the UK and possibly Europe.
